President Barack Obama’s campaign is releasing a new ad featuring a family car that it says is designed to remind Americans that their president has the same values and dreams as all Americans.
The ad, which runs in three North Carolina counties, features the Obamas’ older daughter, Malia, driving a car she bought last year for $8,000.
The ad is titled “My Mom’s Car” and it features photos of the Obams and their families, including Malia’s older brother, who is an Air Force pilot.
The Obamas have been using the family car as a fundraising tool since early last year, when the family was featured in an ad promoting the presidential campaign.
The campaign has since expanded the campaign to include a variety of other vehicle features.
