The new season of Dancing With the Gods, which premieres on July 17, will feature all-male casts.
In a series of tweets Thursday, CBS’ Senior Vice President of Programming for original programming Jon Ronson hinted that the show could feature all female performers.
“We’re going to have a bunch of all-girls cast, including a bunch,” Ronson tweeted.
“We’re very excited to have them on our show.”ABC also has a slew of female stars in its lineup for the season.
For its first season, the network added two female “celebrity dance instructors” to the cast of The Muppets and Glee.
ABC’s first season of the new series also featured three women in its cast: Aisha Tyler in the lead role of the title character, an actress in the supporting role, and an aspiring dancer in the role of “Glam” (played by Tia Carreras).
